For 100 years, WOMT Radio has been proud to serve our community with trusted local programming and a deep commitment to the people we call neighbors. As we celebrate WOMT 100, we’re honoring that legacy while also looking ahead at how to continue best serving our community into the future.

 

With that in mind, we couldn’t be more excited to announce an expansion of our signal! Beginning February 1, 2026, WOMT programming will be broadcast simultaneously on its original home at 1240 AM and its brand-new home at 98.9 FM.

 

As part of this transition, WEMP’s call letters and easy listening format will retire, but the local radio you know and trust isn’t going anywhere. Your favorite local programming will continue under the WOMT name you’ve relied on for generations.
